Ellie Wharton's career in children's books began in the rights department of a small London-based publisher, taking her to book fairs all over the world. Ellie went on to work at Egmont, publishing children's authors including Michael Morpurgo and Giles Andreae. She is the author of many children's books including Michael Recycle, following the trials and tribulations of a green superhero, which has sold over 200,000 copies worldwide. Dylan's Amazing Dinosaur series is one of many bestselling series and books created with writing partner Tamara Macfarlane.
