During the reign of Emporer Trajan (98-117) roman art reached the peak of its glory. The dignified picture of Dacians was placed in the most prestigious place of the Roman world, in the centre of Rome, in Trajan's Forum. This noble picture of the Dacian people managed to defeat the destructive factor of time and come to this very day, a fact that is very important and highly valuable for the history of the ancient representations of the Dacians in Roman art and Romania's culture.
