A young intern at the US embassy in Ankara, Turkey, survives a terrorist attack only to unwittingly be viewed as a figurehead to some and a key witness to others. As the intrigue and the suspicion exacerbates, Penny must team up with a rookie CIA officer to outwit the Turkish authorities, Islamic extremists and the CIA itself.
