Book of Storms

Danny's parents are storm chasers, and one night after a particularly fierce storm, they don't come back. The sycamore tree in Danny's back yard seems to have been struck by lightning, and when he picks up a shard of wood, he starts to hear voices. In fact, Danny has picked up a taro, a piece of lightning that bestows unnerving powers on its owner, a valuable object that many wish to control. Ages: 9+
